NSE and BSE, the Indian stock markets, will remain closed on 21st April 2021 on account of Ram Navami. This is the third trading holiday for the bourses in April 2021. The previous two holidays were on 2nd April and 14th April, on account of Good Friday and Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti respectively.
The share market will be closed for equities, equity derivatives and SLB segments. However, commodity markets will be closed only for the morning session. They will be open for the evening session.
This is the second consecutive where Wednesday is a holiday. Last week too, Wednesday was a holiday on account of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti. The list of holidays for Indian stock markets can be checked here.
